A joint endeavor will lead to a successful outcome.

I’m a busy dad, but found the perfect nine

Jul 10, 2023

IT’S NO secret that parents always need a bank of snack ideas for their little ones that are both easy to cook and delicious.

And after seeing a video of an air fryer recipe that takes less than 10 minutes to make, one dad decided to make it himself.

Mel, who is a whizz for easy, everyday recipes, took to her social media account to help Chris recreate the small meal so others could benefit from it, too.

"Chris is in the kitchen" she said as the video started. "He saw a snack yesterday on TikTok - we don't remember where it came from.

"But he wants to recreate it so I’m going to take you through what it is."

The scene then changed to Chris cracking two eggs into a bowl before whisking them together.

He then took a slice of bread out of the packaging and placed it flat on a chopping board. Using a roller, he then flattened it out "like a pancake".

When asked "what's next?" Chris explained that he got some ham and placed it onto one third of the bread.

Grated cheese was then placed in front of the ham before he used both hands to roll the bread together into a swirl.

He then dipped each roll into the egg wash before placing them all into the air fryer.

Chris finished by sticking them into the machine at 180 degrees for nine minutes in total.

When he took them out, viewers could see how delicious the snacks looked on the plate, which he paired with some ketchup.

People were blown away by the easy recipe and took to the comments to share their thoughts.

One person wrote: "definitely going to try," as a second chimed: "giddy up ... I'll be making them tonight... thanks for sharing".

A third shared: "Just made them, really nice but definitely need baking paper as mine stuck to the bottom".

TikTok user _melmelbourne_ replied: "Oh that sucks, we have never had a problem with ours sticking".

And a fourth added: "I saw that !! So how was it ??" to which they responded: "They had eaten them all by the time I went upstairs and came back down again!

"The kids loved them," followed by a heart emoji.
